I have eaten at Genovese's more often than any other Italian Restaurant in Volusia County. My favorite is a toss up between the Extra Cheese and Pepperoni Sicilian Pizza or the Large Extra Cheese and Pepperoni Thin Crust.
The Sicilian is the chewiest greasiest mess of heaven disguised as a pizza. Their cheese is a good quality. So if you don't order extra cheese it isn't as greasy. But you will miss out on the fun of the clean up. This Pie costs $13.00 And feeds 4 Grown men with appetites. I recommend this to all Volusia County Residents.
The thin crust pizza is as close to Midwest pizza as I have found south of the Mason Dixie Line. It runs $11.00 and feeds 3 grown men. It has a crunchy crust all the way through. And is always delivered hot. And they deliver special requests without any problems. I.E. I order lunch for the shop and I also send a small pie to my girlfriends house on the way. Their only fault so far is a very mediocre cheese garlic bread.
I also order the Greek salad occasionally. It is a very large salad mixed with loads of ham, salami and feta cheese. It costs $3.95. It is a healthy alternative to the artery clogging great tasting pizzas.
