I ate here was on 9/22/2011 at 9 P.M. I had my girlfriend with. It was a very pleasant visit and the first time I've been here when I didn't have to wait to be seated.
We started out with an appetizer of hot wings. I ordered the hottest available. They where very tasty and deep fried to perfection. Crunchy outside meaty inside. They could of been a little larger, but from what I have experienced around Flagler and Volusia, they are par for course. The sauce rates mild on my hot sauce scale. The flavor is very close to Texas Pete's wing sauce. So over all they where a good beginning.
For my main course I ordered their 20 oz sirloin. My waitress recommended this as one of their better steaks. I ordered it rare, along with the red garlic potatoes. My dinner was at our table before the wings were gone. I see that as a good thing. I hate waiting for anything. The potatoes went down first. They were good but nothing to brag about. I tried the coleslaw that comes with their meals. It was very sweet. I didn't care for it much, but I'm not a fan of coleslaw. Then it was time for my steak. It was very rare. It cut easy and was easy to chew. It could of been a little warmer, but I did wait until last to eat it. It didn't have the marinated taste that most sirloins have down here. It was a very good cut and I'm happy to say it was to much to finish in one setting. It was a very good amount for my money.
My girlfriend ordered a half rack of ribs with the red garlic potatoes. I tried her ribs, They were good as usual. I have ordered them here before and it is their mainstay. They are well worth the visit.
Our combined dinner and beverage ticket total was $44.05. This included 3 Coors light beers, 20 Hot wings, A 20 oz sirloin dinner and a half rack of ribs.
